Grulla solid grandson of Zips Chocolate Chip!!--Joey is a beautiful slate gray, solid bred grulla, with black points, dorsal strip and webbing. He is producing some awesome paint and buckskin babies. He tested negative for the lethal white gene, so great cross for toveros and frame overos if breeding Paints. Also a great cross on AQHA mares to get a IBHA prospect. He is registered in the APHA(breeding stock), ABHA(American Buckskin Horse Assoc.). and IBHA(International Buckskin Horse Assoc.). He has a very slow legged (see his videos above), and has a very laid back disposition. He moves like he is in slow motion, so to speak. He is standing at Raimonde LTD in Wooster, Ohio when not being shown. I had three mares bred to him in 2006 and he produced two grullas out of the QHs and a sorrel. In 2007 he produced a black out of a QH grulla mare and a chestnut/overo out of a APHA overo mare. 2008 we have a grulla solid filly and loud bay/tovero. If you're looking for a well bred stud, with a great disposition, beautiful head, unusual color, and nice slow gaits he's the one for you. This color really stands out in the show ring. He could throw grullas, red duns or zebra duns, as well as Paints. I have decided to lower the stud fee to get more babies with this beautiful color, so take advantage next year . He is being shown again this year by Stephine Fesler, and they are doing great. He finished 1st out of 22 in the walk-trot WP class at Ashland and this is only their second show . They also placed 3rd out of 22 in the equitation class. Placing in the top 2 in WP and equitation almost everytime shown last year. Way to go Steph!!! His Babies are just starting to hit the show ring and are doing great, too. PV Im Slightlychipped ended up second in Wisconsin in LL and was third in the nation in IBHA longe line in June of 2007. We went to our first IBHA show this weekend and she did really well in the yearling lunge line. On Saturday we took a 1st and 4th out of 16!! Today we took a 2nd and a 6th out of 14!! She earned 10 national points today... 5 away from her R.O.M. As of 5/18/07 she is 3RD IN THE NATION for the yearling lunge line. She is an ABSOLUTE sweetheart and I just love her so much! I've gotten sooooo many compliments on her beautiful color and awesome movement. I actually had a well known competitor in this state wanting to purchase her today... I couldn't sell her... she's got a ton of potential and an awesome personality to match. She handled this weekend show like a pro... just tagged along with me, never fussing and did everything I asked her to do in the pen.

Lets put it this way, it would have to be a lot of money for me to do it………a lot. You should see him moving when the mood finally hits him. He is so flat kneed and he floats over the ground like he is not touching it. He looks like he will have an awesome English trot. I think because of his nice long stride I will break him English and then later on work him western. I hate to spoil that natural nice long stride by asking him to slow. SOLD
